Stem InjectorDos Pro Applicator for Japanese Knotweed
Stem injection application for Japanese Knotweed
The Injector Dos Pro is an injection applicator with the facility to ‘dial-in’ a pre-determined metered volume of spray liquid to be dispensed. The "Pro" model features a stainless steel framework for added comfort and durability.
Use the Stem Injector Pro to control Japanese Knotweed, Giant Hogweed and Himalayan Balsam
The Injector Dos Pro is suitable for injecting herbicide, usually undiluted herbicide containing glyphosate e.g. Roundup Pro Biactive or Asteroid, into the stem of weeds with hollow stems e.g. Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia Japonica), where injection should take place between the second and third stem nodes using a one shot dose of 2ml of undiluted herbicide. The Injector Dos Pro can also be used to control Giant Hogweed (Heracleum Mantegazzianium) and Himalayan Balsam (Impatiens Glandulifera).
The InjectorDos Pro is built to withstand the rigours of repetitive and frequent use. It offers a safe and effective means of treating weeds in places adjoined by sensitive areas (e.g. close to watercourses) or where adjacent foliage needs to be preserved and a spray is unsuitable.
InjectorDos Pro has two needles; the regular needle is slightly thicker and is designed to penetrate through tough mature stems of Japanese Knotweed with minimal effort. The second needle is slightly finer for follow-up treatment of young re-growth.
The InjectorDos comes with a one litre backpack with a built in in-line tap for easy shut off of liquid, a comfortable shoulder strap and a funnel.
