Formulated to give pre-emergence control of weeds for up to 3 months
Ronstar 2G is formulated as a granule to give pre-emergence residual control of the weeds, while offering outstanding levels of crop safety.
Now with specific off-label approval for ornamental shrub beds (2995/2010)
Ronstar 2G granules, when applied to moist soil, dissolve, forming an invisible herbicide barrier. As weed seeds germinate and grow through the soil surface, they pick up the herbicide through the shoots and die. Weed control should be effective for up to 3 months.
There is no uptake by the roots and it is this property of Ronstar 2G that ensures safety to the plant.

Please see attached crop tolerance document
How to use Ronstar 2G
Application rate is 1kg per 100m maximum individual rate. The total dose is 1.5kg per 100m (equivalent to 150kg per Ha).
Ensure no granules have lodged in the foliage, as this could result in scorch. Apply the granules at half rate in opposite directions, to ensure good coverage.
Like all residual herbicides, soil moisture is essential to ensure that the herbicide can be taken up by the weed seedlings as they grow.
Ensure the soil surface is left undisturbed after application to maintain the residual barrier of herbicide. Do not mix the granules into the soil.
Application can be made using a Cascade Applicator
