WOODY can be used for scrub clearance either before or after planting. Where scrub has developed into young coppice better control of individual specimens is achieved by basal bark application, frill girdling or via trunk injection. Painting undiluted WOODY onto cut stumps will prevent further coppice growth from the cut stump. WOODY can be used on land
not intended to bear vegetation such as railway embankments, motorway verges, roadsides, grassland of no agricultural interest and to clear industrial areas of nettles, brambles,
perennial broad-leaved weeds and other woody weeds.
KEEP LIVESTOCK out of treated areas for at least 7 days and until the foliage of all poisonous weeds such as ragwort have died and become unpalatable.
