Weed Control Around Trees, Shrubs and Borders
Progreen have an extensive range of products to provide safe and long lasting weed control around trees, shrubs and ornamental borders. Although typically these products are applied in the winter months, while weeds are dormant, and before they become a problem in spring, we also have products suitable to apply later in the year.
Weed control usually lasts for 3 to 6 months, keeping gardens and amenity areas tidy in appearance and minimising the need for costly and time consuming hand weeding.
We have products which can be applied as a granule (without water) or others which are diluted with water and applied as a spray through a knapsack.

Products applied as granules.
Kerb Granules – usually applied between October to February, good at controlling grasses and broadleaf weeds (BLWs).
Ronstar 2G – wider season of use than Kerb Granules, better at BLWs, weaker at grasses.
Products to dilute and apply as a spray:
Kerb Flo – liquid version of Kerb Granules as above
Ronstar Liquid – liquid version of Ronstar 2G as above
Flexidor – usually used as a mixer product with Kerb Flo, perfectly complimenting Kerbs weed spectrum. The addition of Flexidor to Kerb Flo will give the most comprehensive weed cover and the closest job to the revoked herbicide “Casoran G” (contains Diclobenil).
