Lawns

Wanting to kill moss on lawns is a very common problem, particularly as most lawns will contain some moss.  If you want to get on top of moss there are a number of ways to control it from using a mosskiller combined with a fertiliser such as ‘Feed, Weed & Moss Killer fertiliser’ which will not only control the moss but invigorate your grass growth.  To using a sulphate based product such as a liquid iron or granular iron which when applied blackens the moss that can then be raked out.

However moss is also often an indicator of poor growing conditions so once you have controlled the moss it will also be necessary to improve the overall health of the lawn by raking, fertilising and in some severe cases re-seeding it.
