PA6PP – PA6 Pesticide Plugs (Ecoplugs) Training
Face to face, half day training with a qualified instructor, in preparation for the PA6PP assessment
PA6PP (Pesticide Plugs) training is for anyone who wishes to apply Ecoplugs, plastic pesticide-filled plugs (see pre-qualification requirements*)
Ecoplugs are a safe, efficient product containing a granulated glypgosate pesticide – used to kill regrowth in tree stumps and other woody plants.
The training will follow the same format as face to face instruction, to prepare you for the practical assessment**.

Training fee includes:
- Dedicated, experienced trainer on hand to teach and answer questions for the day
- Course workbook to follow and keep notes. Useful during your assessment
- Free dummy plugs & drillbit to practice before your assessment
- List of required and suggested items for practice and for the assessment
Training suitable to attain a City & Guilds (NPTC) or LANTRA PA6PP qualification
Expected duration is half a day – subject to learner numbers and experience
Please note:
We require a minimum of three learners signed up for any one live session to go ahead. Full confirmation of this, along with all other information required will be sent out a week prior to the training date.
Where there are insufficent numbers to run a course, candidates will be offered the next available date.
Anyone undertaking a PA6 qualification after January 2015 will need to complete this unit if they wish to use plastic plugs – on their own property or for business

** Practical Assessments (exam) must be done face to face and are held on a separate day – by arrangement. Subject to availability, the assessor will visit you to conduct the assessment. It is a legal requirement to pass this test before you can apply pesticides, training alone is not sufficient
