Introduction to Rat Bait courses:
From March 2018 anyone who wants to buy wheat-based rodenticide (rat bait, mice bait) over 150g or rat bait / mice bait in blocks over 300g must complete a rodent control course.
This online rat poison course meets these requirements and also meets the standard set by the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU).
Rodent control is key to many agricultural businesses. This rat bait course will give you a nationally recognised certificate of competence that can then be used for purchasing professional use rat and mice baits.
What this rodenticide course covers:
This Rodent Control Course focuses on how to prevent and control rats and mice infestations and the legislation surrounding the humane and effective management of them on farms and in agricultural environments. Taking candidates through the efficient and safe methods for rodent control whilst minimizing damage to the environment.

This e-learning course is structured into three learning and assessment modules.
To receive your certificate for Rodent Control on Farms you will need to achieve a pass rate of 80% or more. You will be allowed 2 attempts at each module.
Once completed a Lantra Awards Rodent Control on Farms certificate will be made available for you to download and print. This certificate will then allow you to purchase professional use rodenticides.
