You’ll find our passionate, friendly, and expert team in our modern despatch warehouse on the outskirts of Peterborough, ideally located as a main UK transport hub. From our new base Progreen can quickly deliver a wide range of fertilisers, pesticides, weed killers, moss control solutions, fungicides, grass seeds and application equipment UK wide & internationally.

Since being acquired from the family founders in 2021 by WCF Ltd there has been considerable investment in our people, our products and our facilities.

Our aim is to deliver a full range of professional landscaping and land management products through high quality technical advice and trusted expertise.

Whether you are a professional user working in the amenity, horticultural, equine or forestry industries or simply a keen gardener, Progreen has a vast range of products to suit your various weed control and ground care needs. Our team are passionate about our

product range and our comprehensive website provides a rich data bank of advice.

We want to make sure that you get the right product, that does the right job, at the right price.   That’s why we regularly monitor competitor prices online and off and review the product ranges that we supply.  Our team are empowered to find and promote innovative solutions, products and services on behalf of our customers.

We have long standing relationships with a dedicated group of supply partners. We only use respectable, trusted, and well-established suppliers who we have worked with for a number of years.

Some of our products including Kurtail Evo are exclusive to Progreen.

It’s also why we offer the support of free technical advice from our FACTS & BASIS qualified team. Many of our team have used the products themselves and can speak from a personal as well as a technical base.

To ensure that you get the best out of the products you buy from us, as well as continue your own professional certification we offer a range of training courses such as LANTRA / City and Guilds PA1, PA2, PA6 knapsack sprayer training, BASIS certification and FACTS courses. These can be delivered as a combination of on-line, in-house, off-site and roadshow style training courses.

We don’t just sell training products to our own customers. We believe in the importance of product training & legislative knowledge which is why Progreen is a member of professional trade bodies including BASIS and The Amenity Forum.  This ensures that we always understand industry changes and how they may affect us and you, as well as keeping on top of required product developments.

As an employee-owned business, at Progreen, we place our customers at the heart of everything we do. Whilst our website offers a knowledge database and the convenience of on-line ordering, our Technical Advisers are always available at our UK base in Peterborough to talk to if required. Our aim is to develop long-lasting relationships and connections with our customers to encourage them to order for us again or recommend us to their friends and family.

We are delighted to be able to provide local people with diverse and interesting roles and support local communities, as well as providing charitable donations of both cash and product to a range of charities. We also encourage our teams to take part in volunteering and fund-raising.

We provide the Progreen team with the freedom to contribute positively to the continuation of our legacy and heritage. We foster a culture of continuous learning and personal development, as well as investing in the continued growth of talent. Our structure facilitates the divestment of responsibility and autonomy through our teams, allowing them to make good decisions on behalf of our customers. Our focus on a positive employee experience fosters high levels of employee engagement resulting in the retention of key talent with high levels of personal connection to the company and to our customers.

Our unique structure of employee ownership means that all our people have a personal interest in the continued and sustained success of Progreen. This allows them to make a meaningful difference to our performance and take good decisions. Our teams have a shared sense of purpose and share financially in our success through our annual Employee Ownership Dividend and the issue of free shares. This creates a lasting bond. More importantly they are encouraged to use their Employee Voice on an ongoing basis to improve what we do.
