This category includes in-person pesticide application training, such as PA units, as well as crop protection qualifications, including BASIS certificates. Courses range from foundation knowledge through to specialist and sector-specific training.
Do these courses include both training and assessment?
Yes. In-person courses include the training element, with assessments arranged separately where required. Assessment dates and requirements vary depending on the qualification and will be confirmed when booking.
Which pesticide training courses are available?
We offer a full range of PA units, including PA1 theory and practical application units covering handheld, boom sprayer, injection, slug pellet and boat-mounted spraying. These courses support legal certification for professional pesticide use.
What crop protection qualifications do you offer?
We deliver BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection courses for specific sectors, such as amenity grass and sports turf, as well as specialist crop protection topics including invasive and injurious weeds.
Where are in-person courses delivered?
Depending on the course, training is delivered at our Orton Southgate centre in Peterborough or at other UK locations. Group training can also be arranged at a client’s site.
Do you offer group or on-site training?
Yes. We provide in-person training for individuals and groups, with on-site delivery available across the UK. A minimum number of participants applies for group bookings.
