Our Farms & Agriculture Assessment includes the Animal Transport by Road (Short Journey) Level 2 Assessment, designed for those who have already completed the required training and need to achieve certification. This assessment confirms competence in animal welfare, handling and legal responsibilities when transporting animals over short journeys, in line with current UK regulations. Training is not included and must be completed separately before booking the assessment.
Does this include training as well as the assessment?
No. This product provides the assessment only. Any required training must be completed separately before you sit the exam.
What does the assessment involve?
The assessment consists of one core exam, followed by additional exams for the specific animal types you wish to transport, such as cattle, sheep, pigs, horses or birds. You must pass the core exam and the relevant animal modules to receive full certification.
How is the assessment delivered?
The assessment is completed as an online proctored exam, which you can take remotely using a PC, laptop or tablet with internet access and a webcam.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes. You must be at least 16 years old to take this assessment.
