Gypsum Fine is a high-quality, finely milled calcium sulphate designed to improve soil structure and support healthy plant growth. It supplies essential calcium and sulphur while having little to no effect on soil pH (within the range of 4–8), making it suitable for most soil types.

When applied to soil, Gypsum Fine helps reduce compaction, improves aeration, and enhances water infiltration and drainage. These improvements allow roots to grow more freely and enable plants to access nutrients more efficiently. It is particularly beneficial for clay-heavy or compacted soils and areas prone to poor drainage.

Gypsum Fine is ideal for use on lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, and agricultural soils. Regular application promotes healthier soil, stronger root systems, and more resilient plant growth without the risk of over-alkalising the soil.

    Standard application: 400m2

    • Standard application: 50g/m2
    • Incorporating into rootzone: 500g/m2
    • Use a broadcast or drop spreader for even distribution
    • Water the lawn heavily immediately after application
    • One application per year is sufficient, though for severe compaction, it can be applied twice a year
    • Water in thoroughly: Immediately after application, water the lawn well to help gypsum penetrate the soil and start reducing compaction.
    • Keep off the lawn briefly: Avoid foot traffic for at least 24–48 hours to allow the gypsum to settle and work effectively.
    • Monitor soil moisture: Maintain moderate soil moisture—avoid overwatering or creating puddles that can cause runoff.
    • Observe results: Over the following weeks, check for improved drainage and softer soil; repeated applications may be needed in very compacted areas.
    • Routine lawn care: Continue normal mowing and fertilising practices to support healthy turf and maintain improved soil structure.
