A Guide to Lawn Care Fertiliser

Fertilisers are usually represented by a  combination of numbers, such as 6-9-6, 10-4-4 or 6-5-2. These numbers represent the three main nutrients used by your lawn: Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) or NPK short. The higher the number, the more concentrated that nutrient is in that fertiliser mix. So for 6-9-6, there is 50% more Phosphorus than Nitrogen which has the same amount as Potassium.

Added Sulfur Trioxide and Calcium Oxide help balance the soils pH which discourages weeds.
