Since the introduction of the Clean Air Acts in the 1970‚s, disposition of this essential nutrient has fallen dramatically, rendering many UK soils deficient of sulphur.
Deficiency symptoms in grassland cause large yield reductions and impair grazing quality. Grass will appear pale and flaccid. To correct a small deficiency, apply Amvista Sul4 at a rate of 25 - 50 kg/ha (1 to 2 bags per 2.5 ac) - or more if following soil treatment advice
NB: Larger quantities of Amvista Sul4 can be used to reduce high pH in soils (above 7) but we recommend a soil analysis to determine correct levels before treatment. Please speak to our FACTS qualified advisor for more information
