Professional Dock Control for Pasture & Grazing Land

Doxstar Pro is a powerful selective herbicide designed to control established dock infestations in grassland, helping to improve forage quality and maximise productive grazing areas. Its advanced dual-active formulation moves throughout the weed and down into the root system, delivering long-lasting control rather than simply treating visible growth.

Suitable for established pasture, grazing land, hay meadows and silage fields, Doxstar Pro effectively tackles both broad-leaved and curled docks while remaining safe for established grass species when used as directed.

Docks are notorious for competing with grass for nutrients, moisture and light, reducing the productivity and palatability of grazing land. Doxstar Pro is absorbed through the foliage before being translocated throughout the plant, including the root system, helping to prevent regrowth and deliver longer-lasting results.

Coverage: Up to 1 hectare (10,000m²) per 2L pack

Dilution rate: Boom Sprayer: Apply 2.0L of Doxstar Pro per hectare in 300-400 litres of water per hectare.

  • Apply to actively growing docks for optimum results.
  • Best applied to dock plants in the rosette stage.
  • Suitable for boom sprayer application.
  • Use 2.0L per hectare in accordance with the product label.
  • Stock can return to treated land after 7 days, subject to label guidance.
  • Allow treated weeds to remain undisturbed after application to ensure the herbicide is fully absorbed and translocated throughout the plant, including the root system.
  • Do not cut, mow, top, or harvest treated grassland for at least 28 days after spraying to achieve the highest level of long-term dock control.
  • Keep livestock off treated areas for a minimum of 7 days following application, and always follow the guidance on the product label before reintroducing grazing animals.
  • For best results, avoid spraying stressed weeds. Docks should be actively growing both before and after treatment to maximise herbicide uptake.
  • If the field has recently been cut, allow sufficient regrowth before application and avoid further cutting until the recommended interval has passed.
  • Monitor treated weeds over the following weeks. Symptoms may take time to develop as Doxstar Pro works throughout the entire plant, including the root system.
  • Where reseeding is planned, grass seed can typically be introduced 4 weeks after treatment and clover after 6 weeks, subject to label recommendations.
  • Thoroughly clean spraying equipment after use to prevent damage to desirable plants during future applications.
