Amvista Spore Stop is an exciting new tool in ProGreen’s Mare’s Tail / Horsetail control range. It has been designed and developed to minimise the spread of Horsetail via its spores and completes the full control programme. Amvista Spore Stop and Kurtail Evo & Kplus are the One – Two knockout for Marestail control. Spore Stop prevents the spread, Kurtail control the weed.
Horsetail Weed has two main growth stages; a reproductive stage that appears as a pale brown stem topped with a cone-shaped spore releasing structure, and the sterile green fern-like growth which smothers out other plants. Kurtail Evo has long been established as the strongest weedkiller for the green fern stage and now Spore Stop has arrived to prevent spores colonising new areas, neighbouring properties and reinforcing populations of Mare’s Tail being controlled with Kurtail Evo.

- The reproductive stage can begin releasing spores soon after emerging. The exact timing is very weather dependant. The cone first emerges as a solid structure, Spore Stop should be applied as this begins to open.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned through immediately after application. Tank, lines and nozzles should be rinsed through with clean water before being flushed with a detergent. For small scale applications a good quality washing up liquid will suffice, however, All Clear Extra is the recommended product to ensure thorough cleaning of valuable equipment.
