Meet The Team

Richard’s time at ProGreen is coming up to 10 years, so is now hoping for time off for good behaviour 😉 ! During his time with us, he has had a go at most things around the business but now concentrates on the running of a happy team together with training candidates for BASIS, NPTC and Lantra qualifications all round the country. 

During his spare time, Richard enjoys all things Nottingham Forest… as well as hiking and map reading.

As ProGreen’s Commercial Manager Josh is responsible for making sure that ProGreen continues to serve its customers, old and new, to the high standard it is known for. He can often be heard on the phone negotiating prices, or found with his head in a spreadsheet creating budgets and plans for the months ahead.

Outside of work he loves spending time outdoors with his dogs and gardening with his partner. Following a visit to Japan for the Rugby World Cup, Josh fell in love with all things Japanese. This is something he makes sure to regularly remind the rest of the team about!

Alice joined us in 2020 and has been one of the key elements to helping ProGreen grow into what it is today thanks to her innovative ideas and “get stuck in” attitude. Throughout the day (despite being rushed off her feet!) Alice spreads cheer throughout the office ensuring everyone is able to leave saying they have had a good day.

When not in the office, you will find Alice spending weekends by the coast with her dog Bella, socialising with friends or catching up on the latest episode of Bake Off!

Jono started his journey with A1 Lawn back in 2013 and has since built extensive knowledge on grass seed and a variety of other lawn care products. As A1 Lawn and ProGreen move closer and closer together, Jono will be sharing his wealth of knowledge with us as well as offering his specialised technical advice to our customers!

Outside of work Jono loves taking part in an activity whether that be walking, hiking or playing golf. As well as this he enjoys keeping up to date with all things rugby due to being an ex-player himself!

Kat has been with ProGreen since 2020 and during her time here she has bought organisation and order to not only the accounts but the entire team! When in the office, Kat is the person to go to not just for us humans but dogs too – if the office dogs are in need of a hug, she will always provide!

One of Kat’s biggest achievements whilst being at ProGreen has been completing her AAT Bookkeeping Level 2 and Level 3 courses in her spare time showing her dedication to her work!

When Kat is not busy with work, you will often find her spending time with her family and dog Florence or hunting for bargains and upcycling them.

After completing an apprenticeship in business administration followed by helping manage her sister’s online business, Tierney had got the taste for all things marketing and wanted to explore this avenue further.

Since joining ProGreen in 2021, she has developed her digital marketing knowledge and loves being able to add in a creative flair to the different aspects of her role.

When not at work, Tierney enjoys spending time with her dog (and colleague 😉 ) Fred and cats Neville & Seamus who are always keeping her entertained!

Alistair joined the ProGreen team in 2021 from a previous background in farming and science. During his busy day, you will find Alistair on the phone to customers dealing with technical and training queries among many other things. In-between offering technical advice and organising training, he spends his day trying to avoid incurring the wrath of Alice and Kat (his work parents!) While in the office, he is always entertaining the 4 legged members of the team (sometimes the 2 legged ones as well!) and enjoys going for a walk with them on his lunch break… provided it’s not raining!

When not at work, Alistair can be found either out and about socialising with friends, listening to music or sitting at his computer playing games for hours on end.

Libby’s role as administration assistant at ProGreen means that she is on hand to help with any of your general queries. Libby is fast broadening her knowledge on the products and services we offer as well as offering a happy helping hand with new & existing order, whether it be weed control, analytic services, tracking or training.

Libby is our customer intimacy champion, this gives you an idea of the happy approach Libby takes to her role within the company and has recently become the newly appointed better health at work advocate.

During her spare time, Libby will often be found (on and off :P) in a spinning class, by a fishing lake with her partner – or laid on the sofa with a glass of wine with her 4 legged companion.

Allison began her journey with ProGreen in October 2023 – she is a friendly and chatty member of the team who is keen to learn every aspect of her new role. Previous to her current role, Allison was a Garment Technologist/Product Developer for more than 20 years and then went on to work at Ideal World as a Compliance Technologist!

While not working at ProGreen, Allison is also a Slimming World Consultant – something that she is very passionate about helping people within the community lose weight and get healthy!

Allison’s biggest achievement is her daughter Harriette (currently in her final year at Norwich University studying Physiotherapy!), who makes her a very proud “mammy” every day.

After relocating twice with Jono and the A1 Lawn team, Ria has always shown her loyalty to WCF and was extremely excited to get the opportunity to join ProGreen. Ria is looking forward to leaning new skills from her role as well as being able to put her excellent organisational skills to good use!

In the office, Ria is most definitely the “girly girl”, not going far without her pink stationary and VERY pink fluffy pen in her hand! On top of this she has a very bubbly character and a positive can do attitude.

When not in the office, Ria is a mum to her little girl Willow who runs the show at home! As well as Willow, Ria has two fur-babies called Elmo and Kira (both house cats). On top of being a doting mum, Ria loves to spend her time horse riding, a hobby she has had since she was just 5 years old!

Frazer is one of the cogs that keeps ProGreen turning making sure that all customer parcels are picked and packed and then sent out of our warehouse on time! While at work Frazer enjoys driving the ProGreen van and forklift as well as organising the stock and making sure everything is neat and tidy.

When not in work you will often find Frazer on the hockey pitch playing with his team as well as keeping an eagle eye on how Arsenal are performing…

Michal is an asset to the warehouse team and has been a key element to making ProGreen what it is today ensuring all parcels are packed with care and precision. When at work, Michal most enjoys driving the forklift and moving pallets as well as fixing equipment.

During his own time, Michal enjoys watching films and series on Netflix as well as keeping up with football matches that are on. On top of this, he enjoys listening to music to unwind.

Being ProGreen’s Happiness Manager is an extremely important job and a role that Bella takes extremely seriously. A 2016 survey by the Banfield Pet Hospital found that 86% of people said that having office dogs significantly reduced their stress levels – this is a fact that Bella aims to prove within ProGreen. If someone is feeling a bit down or getting stressed with their work, she is there to give a helping paw.

Whilst at home, Bella loves spending time with her owners and many pet friends including her cat sister Lyla and dog auntie Millie!

Fred’s role as Smiles Coordinator here at ProGreen means he is tasked with making sure everyone has a smile on their face while in the office – he will do anything it takes to make this happen!

When at home, Fred enjoys spending time with his cat brothers Neville and Seamus. The pair are known to play with each other all evening before falling asleep on the sofa!

Didge is a labradoodle with a fetish for playing ball! This adorable scruff-bag will greet everyone with a waggy tail – especially if they are offering treats or throwing a ball.

Always one to keep himself amused, when he is not tearing around with his girlfriend Bella, he will happily “hide and seek” any office item he can grab
