Perlka 25KG (19.8-0-0) Slow release Nitrogen & Lime Fertiliser
Slow release nitrogen fertiliser without any P & K. Also contains 50% lime to counter low soil pH.
Has sterilsing effect on small weeds and unwanted livestock parasites harboured in soil (eg worms, flukes etc)
Perlka is a general use, granular, nitrogen fertiliser, ideal for horse paddock applications, where nitrogen is the main nutrient required.
Perlka also has some unique properties over any other fertiliser. They include:

Contains lime (Calcium oxide) to raise a paddock soil pH

Sterilizing action on weeds and soil fungal diseases

Sterilizing action of soil parasites potential harmful to livestock

Contains slow release nitrogen, allowing higher doses to be used in single applications without promoting rapid grass growth spurts. This results in few applications.

Safe to livestock and horse.
This product is a reportable substance for the purposes of the Poisons Act 1972 and the Control of Poisons and Explosives Precursors Regulations 2015(1).

Perlka is manufactured from natural raw materials; coal, limestone and atmospheric nitrogen
Application Rates
- Maximum per season 400kg/ha or 160kg/acre
- This can be applied from March, ideally in 2 or 3 applications, 6-8 weeks apart.
- For example:
Allow 10-14 days post application before livestock is re-introduced on to treated grassland.
