  • Label instructions: The label of a pesticide product contains important information about how to use the product safely. You must read and follow the label instructions carefully before using any pesticide product.
  • Protecting human health and the environment: When spraying pesticides, you must take steps to protect human health and the environment. This includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, goggles, and a respirator.
